Survey Says?
Good evening, fair ladies and gents! First and foremost, I want to thank all of you who have written into the network to show a little Knitty Gritty love. You are totally the wind beneath my grass roots wings! Seriously though, I really appreciate the support, That show means a lot to me, so it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that you guys are behind it. Thanks. This year, I'd like to concentrate more on developing my website, making it a place that people want chill at and revisit. To do that though, I definitely need the input of people like yourselves to let me know how I can make VH.com better. If you get a moment, it would rule the school if you would fill out a quick questionaire that me and the ladies (aka Ginger & Jenny) have put together. If you do so, then you're automatically entered into a drawing to win your choice of t-shirts or a copy of New Knits on the Block. Fill out the survey here.
The Austin Craft Mafia gals just left my house. We had one of the most productive meetings that we've ever had, and are moving forward on what promises to be some exciting projects. More on that later.
I know I have more to say, but I've been up since 5:45am and I'm fading. I've been taking Ashtanga (yoga) classes regularly though, so I've been feelig so much more focused and energetic. It's awesome. The only reason I'm mentioning it, is because I have a 9am class tomorrow after I drop off the kiddos. I gots to get some sleep in the meantime because dang, that class kicks mine arse!
Ok, that's all for now. Howell, out.
P.S. You can sleep well knowing that my Treo was found by a cab driver who after negotiating a reward amount with me (apparently the satisfaction of doing the right thing wasn't enough for her), has deposited it at the local Sprint store where I can pick it up at my leisure. My techie life can now resume.
P.P.S. If you'd still like some "Craft. Rock. Live." stickers but haven't written in yet, we still have some left. Drop Ginger (ginger@vickiehowell.com) an e-mail with your address and how many you'd like and she'll get them right out to you. She's good like that. ;-)

After I left you a comment last month about Yahoo deleting my Albuquerque Stitch 'n' Bitch account, an LA Times news reporter saw it here and contacted me. We spoke for a quite a while and check it! Because of you I'm in the paper!

And I also have new digs at http://www.scoutj.com if you want to see what I've been up to. I also wrote the network. As you wished.
I don't get the DIY network, and I just can't spend more money on my dish :)
You guys should have your episodes for sale on itunes, i would buy em all up!
I gladly took the survey - woot :) I miss taking yoga classes so much and having that amazingly focused frame-of-mind
I'm very disappointed that my cable provider doesn't get the DIY Network yet, or at least not in their standard, and digital isn't available in my little location.
But I love your books, and can't wait to see more from you!
I took the survey and left a request on DIY. I so hope they let more episodes run. I love all the shows, but I have the first two seasons almost memorized. And I am excited to see what else you have going on.
:)
I loved it when I was taking yoga. I'm thinking I might sign up for a mom and baby yoga class. wheee!
Thanks everyone for the support! Pixiepurls, that's a good idea about the podcasts. I'll e-mail DIY and see if that's something they;re willing to do.
xo, Vic

kthxbye
Hey, Vickie.
Alas, we don't get DIY either here, but alternate modes of seeing KG would be great...
I added my 2 cents to the survey--thanks for making it short & sweet. :)
And I've cast on for the guitar and knit the first bit--about halfway through the body. It's going to be so cute!
Thanks for what you do,
Karen
